Dovetail Landing, in partnership with the City of Lincoln, AL, invites you to the upcoming “Kickin Bass” Veteran Charity Fishing Tournament. Proceeds benefit veterans and their families here in Alabama returning home from the military.

Proceeds Benefit our Armed Forces Veterans and families, many of whom struggle to acclimate to life after the military. Dovetail Landing is a Veteran Transitional and Wellness Community in Lincoln AL that aids Veterans and their families returning to Alabama after their honorable service to our county. This facility is a no-cost to Veterans program that helps them with workforce training and placement, meals and lodging, VA Benefits assistance, education, and physical and mental health assistance. Please join us in supporting the loved ones of those who have given everything for our country.
 
 The official tournament site weigh-in is at Lincoln's Landing. You must arrive at Lincoln's Landing Launch via boat for an official weigh-in. Weigh-In Bags are provided at check-in the day of the event or the night before at Lincoln's Landing in Lincoln, AL.        
 
 The event kicks off with tournament pre-check-in and late registration on Friday 5/10/2024 at the Lincoln's Landing Parking lot (near the Pavilion) 5-8 pm. Come get your official swag and check-in bag from the tournament director. Last-minute entries will be allowed up to 8:00 pm.

· Saturday morning 5/11/24- Launch from Lincoln's Landing – 

· Check-in opens at 5:00 am 

· Lines In / First Cast is 6:30 am/ SafeLight. 

· Weigh-in is 3:00 pm at Lincoln's Landing 

· Awards and auction items will be provided at the weigh-in area immediately following the event.
 
 Payout Overview:

· Guaranteed $1,000 First Place payout based on 40 boats; Amount over is determined by the number of boats.

· Guaranteed $1,000 First Place payout for (High School/College Division-must be on an HS or Collegiate team to qualify) payout based on 20 boats; Amount over is  
  determined by the number of high school/college teams.

· Payouts for additional places. Example 2nd-10th place (Based on # of paid entries above 40/ or 20 for HS/College Div.

· PLUS BigFish, OVERALL VET, PARENT/CHILD place payouts

· 50/50 Raffle Winner awarded at weigh in; must be present to win
 
  Registration:

•Boats must consist of 2 Anglers ($100 per Boat-VETERAN/MILITARY or $125 per Boat Civilian) Includes Big Fish

•Sponsor a Vet Team = “ALL IN” Support includes tournament entry for (2) anglers, (2) UPF+50 Fishing Hoodies, and $10 Direct Support to Dovetail Landing= $150. (Donor/Company will be recognized)

•Captain a Vet Team is $100 as well but Captain cannot participate as an Angler or assist in the tournament (Must have a Captain for each Veteran Team Participating)
        Swag Bag is included with each boat team. Captains will receive Special Captain Swag Bag

       Captains will be recognized for their generosity in supporting Veterans that would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate.
